A Danielite is a fan of the character Daniel Jackson; archaeologist, linguist, Egyptologist and intergalactic babe. The character was played by James Spader in the Stargate movie and is now played by Michael Shanks in the TV show Stargate SG-1. Fans of the character are not necessarily fans of one or both of the actors and may favour one version of Daniel over another. More info on the term from its creator can be found here.
